As a first-generation American, I have always had a unique appreciation for our democracy and system of government. My parents immigrated to the United States to pursue the American dream of a better life. For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to practice criminal defense. I wanted to dedicate my life to fight the good fight and hold the criminal legal system accountable so that justice and liberty can truly be for everyone.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in history. I was also a member of the Men’s Competitive Gymnastics Team during my time there. Afterwards, I began my legal career as a legal assistant for Rick Cofer before going on to graduate from the Texas Tech University School of Law with a concentration in criminal law and innocence.
I am an alumnus of the Texas Tech University School of Law Criminal Defense Clinic where I had the privilege to zealously advocate as a student attorney for indigent clients who could not otherwise afford legal representation, and to help serve local communities that are traditionally underserved and underrepresented by the legal profession. I strongly believe that everyone should have access to excellent legal representation.
Besides work, I grew up in the DFW area, so I am a massive fan of all things Dallas area sports, especially the Mavericks and the Cowboys. I also love watching movies and taking my dog Athena for walks around the park.
